MAYOR
Well,
We’re who’s here.
We are Whos here.
Smaller than the eye can see.
It’s true, sir.
We’re who’s who, sir.
I’m a Who and so is she.
MAYOR & MRS. MAYOR
We’re tiny little people
Blowing by in the air,
Wondering how and why
We’re on Who,
The ti-iniest
Planet in the sky!
(The entire WHO population is revealed.
HORTON listens intently and reacts throughout the entire song as the WHOS tell him their story)
WHOS
A-ladela-deladela who who
A-ladela-deladela who
TWO WHO SOPRANOS
Who!
WHOS
A-ladela-deladela who who
A-ladela-dela…
We’re Whos here,
Win or lose here,
Struggling to stay alive.
Each gust pro-
Pels our dust. Oh,
How the heck
Do Whos survive?
At any given moment
We could crash or be drowned,
Hitting the ground, oh my!
Here on who,
The ti-iniest
Planet in the sky
So here on who
We live in fear.
We’re drifting through space
And cannot steer!
A troubled and a tiny land …
Our future’s in your hand …
(They move closer, appealing to the listening HORTON.)
It’s up to
You, sir.
Please help Who, sir.
You’re the only one who hears.
You must, sir! MAYOR & MRS. MAYOR
Save our dust, sir! Save our dust, sir!
Now that we have reached
Your ears!
We’re tiny little people
Saying thanks in advance
Hoping perchance, you’ll try!
Here on Who,
The ti-iniest
Planet in the sky…
(HORTON listens to the clover with great seriousness.)
HORTON
I won’t let you down.
No, I won’t let you fall.
A person’s a person
No matter how small.
A person’s a person
No matter how small.

Well I think I am the most relaxed I have ever been before a show. I feel confident in the cast as a whole and think we are going to do very well. I think I’m going to have to focus on staying in character on stage when I’m sitting on my island. Its quite a long time and unusually uncomfortable. I hope that we put on a great performance because we have put a lot of hard work and time into it. I’m really looking forward to tonight’s show.

I felt very comfortable with tonights performance I forgot to pre-set my chair on my island but it was alright and hopefully didn’t look too awkward. We had a really nice audience, pretty responsive. I had no idea that Marissa was even sick, so to hear how shot her voice was…was heart-breaking! She’s such a trooper though and really did an excellent job. I’m really happy with the way that my Cyclops masks turned out, I worked really hard on them. I’m excited for tomorrow night, we’re probably going to have a larger audience. I got the book tonight from Kristi! I was uber excited about that!

I am looking forward to tonight’s performance quite a bit. We are going to have a larger audience which will hopefully up the ante of the cast and get us in the groove of things. I’m going to make sure to pre-set my chair on my island, and have Ben do the same. I need to sleep before call time, because I had a mental breakdown last night after the opening. Once again I’m sure we are going to put on a fantastic performance. Cappies are coming tonight which another thing to add to our stress levels, I need to make my Cyclops masks poster, I think they are going to be very confused on who to nominate.

This show was incredible! Way better than the night before and we had the absolute best audience tonight. They seemed uncomfortable at certain points in the show though, because they would laugh at moments that were either sad or just not something to laugh at. It was kind of irritating because it got to be a large distraction to many of us onstage. Other than that we had a cappies kid, that had an intense anxiety attack and had to be rushed to the emergency room. Long intermission for all of us! Wooh! Anyways it was a great performance and we really kept our energy up for the second strenuous act!

This show is going to go out with such a bang! We are all really excited for the closing because it feels as if we have been working on this for awhile now. I can’t wait until the cast party tonight! We have had either positive or really negative reviews of this show and its kind of a disappointment to hear the negative ones, but then again everyone has their own personal opinions! Its kind of sad to see how fast senior year has gone by, and the ending of this show is another passing! I can’t describe how much fun this show was to finally put on with such a great cast! Both of today’s shows are going to be great!

Well Dillon had the stomach flu so we lines the stage with buckets just in case he needed to heave. But he held it together for both shows and did an excellent time! I hope that everyone is as happy that this show is over as I am. I can’t believe that its finally over and we will soon be starting on crazy for you! these final two shows were done professionally and with great integrity. We had a great audience for both shows and I think they understood the depth of the show a little better than the previous night’s audiences.
